The WT 500 is a floor standing coil winding machine and suitable for the production of medium size coils and transformers. It is made of high quality iron framework and robust mechanical parts. The main spindle is driven by an AC fallsafe motor. A gear box and 3 step pulleys are fitted as standard to give a large range of torques and speeds. The AC motor is controlled by an inverter drive, which provides a smooth operation during the machine winding. The wire guide carriage has been constructed using a precision ball screw and is mounted on steel bar with linear bearing guides. It is controlled by a servo motor and encoder thus provides high performance and exact movements of the wire guide. The WT 500 can be supplied with a PLC controller for usual winding jobs or a PC control system for sophisticated applications.
